The Inspiration
Dr. Kristie DeBlasio formed Sienna Psychology to honor the spirit of her late therapy dog, Sienna. Sienna was born a rescue animal and was adopted and surrendered several times. Thanks to Big Dog Ranch Rescue, she found her forever home with Dr. Kristie in 2010.
Sienna eventually became a therapy dog and spent every day at the office until she passed in 2022. Dr. Kristie hopes Sienna's story can inspire us to never give up and to believe in our ability to overcome our struggles.
Our History & Approach
Dr. Kristie is a seasoned Clinical Psychologist and owner of Sienna Psychology with over 20 years of therapeutic and assessment/testing experience. The practice is dedicated to helping individuals, from children to adults, who need support with various emotional challenges and life adversities. Interventions are tailored to each client's unique needs, drawing from both conventional therapeutic modalities and the principles of holistic health. Dr. Kristie also holds certification as a Nutrition and Health Coach.
Outside of her role as a therapist, Dr. Kristie has been dedicated to advancing mental health on a broader scale. Since 2018, she has served with distinction on the Florida Bar's Committee on Mental Health and Wellness. In this capacity, she has advocated for and informed systemic improvements in mental health care for attorneys and provided webinars and continuing education programs to its members.
